Terms of Service
Updated November 6, 2026
These terms cover your use of Aisle’s website and app. Aisle is operated by Colin Shippam in Ocala, Marion County, Florida, USA. “Aisle,” “we,” and “us” refer to that operator. “You” means the person using Aisle and, when you use it for a barn, that barn.
By creating an account, starting a free trial, subscribing, or using Aisle, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Aisle.
The service
Aisle is subscription barn management software for boarding and lesson barns in the United States. Barns use it to keep records of horses, stalls, care, schedules, bookings, and daily checklists, and to give barn members access based on their role.
Aisle bills the barn. It does not send board bills to horse owners or clients. Optional features, such as Jev matching for horse imports, may rely on a third-party account that is covered by that provider’s own terms.
Accounts and barn roles
You must be able to form a binding contract to use Aisle. If you create or manage a barn, you confirm that you have authority to do so for that barn. Keep your account information accurate and your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Your barn role determines what you can see and do. Barn owners manage people and the Aisle subscription, and they are responsible for who they invite and which role each person receives.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or violate another person’s rights;
- add information or photos that you do not have permission to share;
- access, or try to access, an account, barn, or record you are not authorized to use;
- interfere with Aisle, bypass its security or plan limits, or introduce malicious code; or
- resell Aisle, or copy it to build a competing product.
We may suspend or close access when reasonably needed to address a violation of these terms or to protect Aisle, its users, or others.
Subscriptions and billing
Each barn’s subscription is billed monthly or yearly through Stripe, for the plan and billing period chosen at checkout. Only a barn owner can start or manage a subscription. Current plans, prices, and horse limits are shown on the pricing page and at checkout.
Horses, stalls, care, and the schedule are open while the subscription is active or trialing. They stay closed in other states, including when a payment is past due, until the subscription is active or trialing again.
While the Aisle website states that billing runs in Stripe test mode, checkout does not create live charges.
Free trial
Every plan includes a 14-day free trial. Starting a trial through Stripe checkout creates a subscription on the plan and billing period you choose. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription continues as a paid subscription and your payment method is charged the plan price when the trial ends.
Auto-renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, and the payment method on file is charged for the next period, until the subscription is canceled.
A barn owner can cancel at any time from billing settings by opening the Customer Portal. After you cancel, access continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and the subscription does not renew.
Refunds
We do not provide prorated refunds, including for unused time after you cancel, except where required by law. If you believe you were billed in error, contact camshippam1@gmail.com so we can review it.
Your barn data
As between you and Aisle, the customer owns its barn data: the records, notes, and photos added to its barn workspace. Aisle does not claim ownership of them. You give us permission to host, copy, display, and otherwise process barn data only as needed to provide and protect the service, follow your barn’s instructions, and meet legal obligations.
Our Privacy policy explains how personal information is handled and which service providers process it.
Account and barn deletion
Ending a subscription does not delete a barn. A barn owner can permanently delete a barn after its subscription and any open checkout have ended. A subscription set to cancel at the end of its period counts as live until that period ends. Deleting a barn removes it for all members, including its horses, photos, care, bookings, rings, and activity log.
You can delete your account from your account settings after you have left or deleted your barns. Deletion cannot be undone from the app. The Privacy policy describes information that may remain after deletion.
Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, Aisle is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that Aisle will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that records will always be complete or accurate.
Aisle is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide veterinary, medical, safety, legal, or financial advice. Your barn remains responsible for the care of its horses, the safety of its people, and decisions made using information in Aisle.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Aisle and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from or related to Aisle or these terms.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims arising from or related to Aisle or these terms will not exceed the amounts you paid to Aisle in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising from or related to Aisle or these terms must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Marion County, Florida, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to these terms
Updates to these terms will appear on this page with a revised date. Material changes will receive additional notice where required by applicable law. By continuing to use Aisle after an update takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
